For this project, I selected Craigslist—a platform known for its utility but lacking in visual design—as the subject of a complete website redesign. The goal was to modernize the interface without sacrificing its core functionality or overwhelming the user. One of the biggest challenges was developing a visual system that could handle the vast range of categories and listings while maintaining clarity and ease of navigation. I focused on building a cohesive design language and introducing smart filters to help users sort through large volumes of information more intuitively. The final design balances simplicity with structure, bringing visual order to a notoriously chaotic user experience while preserving the essence of what makes Craigslist widely used and accessible.
